Corps of Engineers to increase Lake Ashtabula water releases

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, plans to increase water releases over the weekend from Baldhill Dam, near Valley City, North Dakota, this week to maintain storage capacity within Lake Ashtabula.

Corps of Engineers to host ribbon cutting at Lake Ashtabula visitor center

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will celebrate the reopening of its newly renovated visitor center at its Lake Ashtabula Dam and Recreation Area, as well as the site’s 70th anniversary, with a ribbon cutting ceremony May 18, at 11 a.m.

Corps of Engineers to increase Lake Ashtabula outflows again this week

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, plans to slightly drawdown, or lower, Lake Ashtabula behind Baldhill Dam, near Valley City, North Dakota, this week to make room for runoff in the wake of the recent winter storm, rain events and forecasted rain.

Corps releases draft master plan for two eastern North Dakota reservoirs

ST. PAUL, Minn. –The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is seeking comments on the draft master plan and environmental assessment for Lake Ashtabula, near Valley City, North Dakota, and Homme Reservoir, near Park River, North Dakota.
