The 2025 High Water Inspection Trip is scheduled for March 30 - April 4. The free and open to the public hearings will be onboard M/V Mississippi, providing an opportunity for the commission members to meet with local partners, stakeholders and residents, hearing their concerns and issues about Corps projects and programs along the Mississippi River. The Mississippi River Commission was established by Congress in 1879, brings critical engineering representation to the drainage basin, which impacts 41 percent of the United States and includes 1.25 million square miles, over 250 tributaries, 31 states and two Canadian provinces.
