Upper Springbrook Creek – American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)
Small projects can have a big impact. This chinook salmon is looking for spawning grounds in a restored roadside ditch in Renton, Washington. This 900-ft long section of Upper Springbrook Creek was a key piece of a comprehensive restoration program for the Green/Duwamish ecosystem, spanning the tidal estuaries to the spawning and wildlife habitat areas in the upper basin.
