FEST-M Welcomes Capt. Jason Webb
Vicksburg, MS., March 6, 2012 -
Captain Jason R. Webb is a native of Monroe,
Michigan. In 1995, he enlisted in the Army as an Infantryman and
attended one station unit training at Fort Benning, Georgia. He
served in the 3rd US Infantry, “The Old Guard”, Fort Myer, Virginia
until 1997 when he received an appointment to attend the United
States Military Academy Preparatory School in Fort Monmouth, New
Jersey. In 2002, he earned his Bachelors of Science degree in
Electrical Engineering from the United States Military Academy and
was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the Engineer Corp.

Vicksburg, MS., March 30, 2012 - CPT Lawrence
Rudolph, S-2/Intelligence Officer, bid farewell to his 579th
Engineer Detachment (FEST-M) teammates this past week. His Farewell
was held at the Riverwalk Casino on Friday, March 23rd. His new duty
station will be Fort Gordon, Georgia, where his former compatriots
wish for him all the best!”

CSM Groninger becomes the 11th Command
Sergeant Major for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
VICKSBURG, Miss., February 15, 2012 –
Command Sergeant Major Karl J. Groninger has
been selected as the next Command Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers. CSM Groninger is currently serving with the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers, Mississippi Valley Division, 579th Engineer
Detachment (FEST-M), located in Vicksburg. Groninger will become the
11th Command Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and will
replace CSM Micheal L. Buxbaum who has held the position since April
2008.

SFC Gonzalez retires from FEST-M
VICKSBURG, Miss. – Sergeant First Class Alfonso
Gonzalez recently retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’
579th Engineer Detachment (FEST-M), with 20 years of military
service. He served as the Senior Construction Supervisor with the
FEST-M.
